I find it hard to say no to a black cat gf/golden retriever bf romance, so I picked this one up even though I’ve never found this series or Chloe Liese’s writing particularly compelling.
I enjoyed it well enough. It didn’t make me kick my feet or anything though.
If you’re already a fan of the writer (not really), the Bergman family (No) and like a more inexperienced male lead with a more worldly female love interest (Yes. I guess 1/3 isn’t enough) you’ll want this one.
I’ve got to say this why the hell would they have their most intense sexual encounters together in a house filled with his family, then on the ground in a field a block away from a house filled with his family when they’ve been living alone in a nice comfy house with two beds and none of his family for months!?!?
The marriage proposal… I can’t.
