Rock Star meets Shy Nerd girl! This is the 2nd book in the Seaside Pictures series! We met Zane in Capture and I loved his character then and he intrigued me cause there just seemed to be something he was hiding. In Keep ...we see Zane hiding out in Seaside "working" on his album. Fallon is just a quiet local girl with no interest in the stars that sometimes reside in her town. Her BFF is a huge Fan of Zane "Saint" Andrews and is looking to see him. Zane and Fallon meet when Zane is trying to hide and get away from a group of fans. Fallon seems to intrigue him in a way no one has. You can tell Fallon is unsure of him, but Zane keeps insisting they spend time together. Fallon is the first person outside of his group of friends that does not want something from him cause of who he is. The more time Fallon spends with Zane she sees he has some underlying issues. I love the banter between the two of them and the protectiveness of Zane's friends. I love how Fallon and her parent's stand by Zane in even after his secrets come out. The banter made this book light and fun but we also see a subject matter talked about that is not spoken about too often. I love how RVD gets a subject out with a light way but lets you know that it's a real thing.
