I’ve tried to write this review since the moment I finished the story and I’m truly struggling coming up with how to put in to words how this book has made me feel.
The Grand Ruin is hands down one of the best books I’ve ever read. I am truly wrecked. I knew from reading the previous books that Lance and Scarlet’s story was going to be beautiful, tragic, and heart wrenching, but every expectation and hopes I had for their story was exceeded by a landslide. This is a story that will live with me forever. The spice was great and just like this entire story it was beautifully done. For all the moments that may make you sad, there are so many moments that will make you laugh and help put you back together. I loved how we got to see into so many pieces of Lance and Scar’s life both as a couple and as individuals. We also get to see pieces of characters from the entire series from Lance and Scar’s POV which I really enjoyed! I knew this would end on a cliffhanger but boy my heart was not fully prepared at all! I need The Grand Rise to be out now, I’m not prepared to wait!
