Did not finish book. Stopped at 45%.
The most unconvincing romance I have ever read. Within the span of 5 pages, Jess and River go from enemies to him pressing himself against her and them admitting they have ‘lust’ for each other.
The first 160 pages nothing happened, it was major slow burn, then BAM they love eachother. The sudden interest they had in eachother at chapter 12 literally had me saying ‘what the fuck’ out loud.
