With a Vengeance was a really fun stand alone romantasy novel. Vienne is a capable and endearing FMC who tackles grief, revenge, love, and vulnerability in a relatable and enjoyable to read. The three MMCs are also lovable and help to highlight each facet of Vienne’s personality and struggle throughout the book. 
Anne Grove writes with care and infuses her story with immersive world-building and plenty of angst and spice to make this readers… heart… happy. 
WaV is a why choose romance with possessive MMCs and FMC, shadow tails (iykyk), and fierce friendships/found family.
