Burn by Patrick Ness

i just have to say it: this book was a masterpiece. i’d come into it with no real expectations - i wasn’t even certain if i’d like it, based on the description - so i was really, pleasantly surprised. there is something that i absolutely love about switching points of views, especially when it’s in third person, so there was that aspect. there was also the beauty of the plot (the number of plot twists !! the way that so many little pieces tied together !! it was intricate and astonishing). i didn’t see half of the points coming, all the way up until the end. i marked at least 10 lines that i just loved - his writing style is everything - and it also made me laugh !! i just, absolutely loved this book and i highly recommend it :)
