I loved this. It was angst, heartbreaking, sensual and so hot. Another reviewer said it perfect “how does she make every sex scene so unique?!”
Layne was smart, brave and independent. Travis was quiet, protective and dominant when he needed to be but also so incredibly soft and loyal.
He never did anything to or for Layne without her permission which stood out to me. In a world where laws don’t exist, he was still such a good man.
I’m readying the rest of these series when I’ve regrouped a little. It’s not easy for me to think about the world becoming this way while entirely possible.
This made me want to try if anything ever happens to our reality. Hope is always there.
