The Five People You Meet in Heaven, by Mitch Albom

reflective fast-paced

3.0

I previously read Tuesdays with Morrie and loved Mitch Albom's writing style. This one didn't really do it for me. I liked the beginning, and the concept of the book is really interesting: exploring what it is like after death, reflecting on your life and if it had meaning or not. I felt like the book skipped around too much and didnt spend enough time with each of the people he met in heaven, so it was hard to connect and really  follow what Albom was trying to say.

There was also a scene with a sexual assault attempt (trigger warning) that was brushed over and explained away which I really did not like.

Overall, interesting concept but it didn't hit me like it was meant to.
