It absolutely pains me to give this such a low rating.
I LOVED [bc:Rule|17200687|Rule (Marked Men, #1)|Jay Crownover|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1357012113s/17200687.jpg|23675925] and it sits firmly on my favorites shelf & I recommended it to all my friends.
But the story telling here, for me, fell way off the mark.
I felt like I was being told everything instead of experiencing it and so never really connected with either character.
And the repetition! Dear lord the repetition!!!
If i heard once more why Jet was wrong for her or the whiskey colour of her eyes & her long legs, or Adam's sweater vests or or or or or............ aaarrrrggghhhhhhh!!!! SO frustrating.
It had me skimming a lot of the book which I really didn't want to do.
Anywho....that's that.
I did like Jet, he was a cool guy with a sweet heart :)
