This was such a let down. I had so much secondhand embarrassment while reading this, especially during the first few chapters. I ended up having to take a break from it because I was so frustrated! Usually that doesn’t happen, since it’s a)mostly pictures and b)tops 200pgs long. This one really required a break, though.
The one thing that prevents me from rating it even lower is the consistently good art and paneling skills. I like the style and how the tone was used.
I really really really don’t like Taiga. She was rude and pushy. She didn’t really give off the Tsundere vibe that it was trying to give her. Most the time I enjoy Tsunderes, but not this time.
Ryuuji was one of the better characters (even though he’s dumb in some instances. But let’s face it; we all are).
The overall plot was a good idea but didn’t carry out in a way I enjoyed. It was a little much.
