I think someone with better knowledge of US history would enjoy this more, especially the more current presidents like Clinton and Bush because I feel like Lincoln, Nixon, and Kennedy people generally know enough about to like those parts. I just felt a little bit like I was having to use context clues to understand what was going on because I don’t know the history they’re talking about. I do like the structure of some of the scenes like the scene with the two people with opposing sides and it goes back and forth or when it’s the same actor but what is differentiating the characters is the tie The only other Anna Deavere Smith play I’ve read is Fires in the Mirror and I liked that one more than this one but I’m not sure the style is for me.
