Faded in Bloom by Julia Wolf

5.0

Julia still writes the rock star romance like no one else. Here we are thinking Adam is this sort of wild rock boy star who just plays at life and pushes everyone's limits in his own way that you think of him as that annoying younger brother that you love anyway. He's got his kinks and he's comfortable in his skin. But we also learn he's got a heart hidden away. Enter Addie his next-door neighbor and the friendship that blooms is, well, adorable. But then things happen and Adam's lost his Baddie and he's got to face some truths. Here's where Julia brought out the real Adam and he was SO MUCH MORE. He's become one of my all-time favorite rockstars that Julia has created. I think it was because he had to work for it, and I mean work for it. Addie was way underestimated by the people in her life and when she decided to put her foot down it was the hammer. I loved her! They so deserved their HEA and the whole tone of this book was unique. I have really enjoyed The Seasons Change series by Julia because it has had quite a bit of variety in the stories and the characters have been unique and quite memorable. Bravo Julia! You are still my queen of the rockstar romance!
