Bosch gets called in the middle of the night. The victim was hated by pretty much all the police.

Connelly takes on race issues here, like in some of his other Bosch stories. Here, though, it's more central. Wasn't expecting it. I'm also not sure what I think of Connelly's treatment. I like that he's addressing these issues in story form, but Bosch is too much of a white savior.
