"There’s always another secret"
Well, that seems to be the general rule behind Brandon Sanderson's books.

All I can say is, the book does live up to it's hype. Were there some aspects that fell short? Yes. But the detailed magic system, characters and plot made up for it. The magic system in this world scratched a specific itch that comes from reading quite a few fantasy books. I'm not sure if this is a common feeling, but I have always longed for more indepth descriptions of the magic systems. I wished there were more "rules" to the magic and that the characters would experiment with the rules. So that was a satisfying read.

Talking about the characters? Chef's kiss. The banter? 10 on 10. Kelsier? Probably my favorite character in the book. The interactions between Kelsier and Vin were so heart warming and healed some unknown parts of my heart. Lovely character interactions overall.

A fantastic reading experience. Would definitely continue with the series.

PS: This book does provide a good enough ending if you wanna stop with one book. There was a clean tie up of all threads but still has some questions that could be answered in the next books.
