| My Review | Rereading a series from my childhood is always bitter-sweet. There is the fear that the rose-tinted lenses nostalgia often gives won't hold when I revisit the story. Thankfully, this story stands the test of time, and I love it just as much as I did as a child.

Sure, this book isn't without it's flaws, the biggest being the author herself and her harmful views. I often think about the Harry Potter series whenever the discussion about enjoying art from a hated creator comes around. As much as I try not to give any more of my money to this author, I can't help but love Harry Potter and the joy it gives me.

In the end, I find no harm in rereading books I'd purchased years ago, and pretend the author didn't write them. They tell a wonderful story I revisit time and time again. And for that, I give it 5 stars.

   P.S. I'm in Slytherin!
