the first like, 100 pages i was really not invested. then things started looking up, i was enjoying it more, and then it got wild and knocked it back down for me. full honesty i kind of hated the end of the book.
i’m also not a science girly so the Marie Curie thing was a little overdone in my opinion, but again i’m not the target audience so that didn’t have an affect on the star rating for me.
i’m not entirely sure even how to process my feelings about it but if you were going to ever pick up just one ali book, don’t start with this one. (this is coming from a big ali fan!)
