this was a very random pick up for me. i found the ebook and decided to try it out! it was also my first book by Helena and i am so pleasantly surprised!! i loved her writing style and this book was hilarious!!! there were many laugh out loud moments for me personally and i found the banter quite witty and fun. the hate to love trope works very well for me but it was a tad bit rushed in this book and tbh its completely fine. i loved Emme and found her quite interesting to read about. she could've been developed as a character a bit more. holly is just amazing too!!
the only reason i didn't give it full 5 stars is due to the fact that i wasn't expecting it to be this steamy and i was a bit uncomfy sometimes....i think it was my fault because i didn't look at the synopsis with too much attention and also i felt their relationship was a bit rushed and too convenient for reality. this is a very fast paced quick read kind of book.
all in all i had a good time and it was quite a fun ride!
i am definitely looking forward to more books by her!!
