I liked this more than 'The Duke and I' (Daphne and Simon's story) - I feel like the characters were more fleshed out, especially Kate, who is an excellent heroine. In the negatives column, Anthony's reason for wanting to fall in love is rather ridiculous, and I could've done without his multiple (probably intended to be joking?) threats of violence against women. However, the spicy scenes are HOT, and the love story (while predictable) is gorgeous, which is the primary concern with a historical romance, right?
