A well-known classic manga and it is easy to see why. The story feels very ingrained in traditional Japanese culture and mythology, and the characters are well designed and interesting. I love the dynamic between Kagome and Inuyasha and you can already see how their relationship will develop from reincarnated enemies turned unwilling allies to trusted partners. In this volume I particularly liked the first villain we get to see, Yura of the Hair. A good intro to this story and setup for the world and powers we will get to see more of.
