Heartbreakingly beautiful. That’s the best way to describe this book. It wasn’t what I was expecting at all but that doesn’t mean I didn’t love it. We need more stories focusing on as well as cherishing the power of female friendships and I feel that that’s exactly what this did at its core.

my only disappointment is the event that takes place at the very end with Aaron and Dannie. I think their entire “romance” timeline was rushed & honestly the only thing that i felt between the two characters was platonic friendship that stemmed from their love of Bella and the trauma of her cancer diagnosis and eventual death. They didn’t develop beyond that enough throughout the bulk of the story so by the time december 15 rolls around, it all felt so sudden and rushed and out of place? like i get what the author was trying to do but also….mmm left a bad taste in my mouth given the the timing of it all. I personally think the author could have just had them kiss and that be the end of it but to go further than that? Yeah no can’t get behind that.
