Did not finish book. Stopped at 33%.
Not me DNFing a book for the first time. DNFing stresses me out but there is too many books and not enough time for those precious hours to be spent not enjoying your current read and I’ve gotta get on board with that.
I gave this book 104 pages of my time and had to give up. It just did not grip me in any way shape or form, I came into it with excited expectations because the ‘brother’s best friend’ trope is usually so good. But I found the plot of the first third of this book incredibly boring and I thought the characters were a bit wet. I’m so sorry, the whole insta-love vibe in this book is just so not for me, give me more. Deepest apologies if it gets better in the latter two thirds, but I shall not be finding out.
