I'm normally a big fan of Koontz but I struggled to get into this book.  Koontz will often move into the paranormal but something was just not quite right about the story.  Then the twist occurs in chapter 90 (yes lots of chapters but very short) and you get this ah-ha moment.  The problem for me is now things get even stranger.

There were definitely times when I enjoyed the read, mostly when we were following Pogo and Pax.  It's not a terrible book just very strange.
