Attachments is the sort of book that’s difficult to get into at first, but impossible to put down once you get going. I must admit, I hated Lincoln at the beginning of this book. I mean whining about a girl who dumped him ten years ago? C’mon. But by the end, I weirdly found myself rooting for him. Does he give me serious creeper vibes? Most definitely. But I'm happy for him and his character development at the end of it.
SpoilerI only hope that it all works out for him and Beth. I'm quite surprised she went for Lincoln at the end of it all. I found this part of the plotline very unrealistic. If a man had been stalking my email for months, I'm not making out with him in a movie theater. I'm calling the authorities and getting a restraining order.
