Camino Winds by John Grisham

3.0

This is John Grisham's first true sequel (not counting his Theodore Boone YA series)

Grisham revisits Camino Island as a category 4 hurricane batters the island. During the hurricane, a murder takes place. The victims friends then try to solve the murder.

This is not your normal Grisham story as a courtroom does not appear. As I've stated with his past several books, the story feels like a shell of a story, very underdeveloped and all the characters seem like the same person. It feels more like a detailed outline, but the difference with this story is not knowing who the bad guys are, being left in the dark, the suspense. I was going to give this 4 stars, but the ending was choppy.

I enjoyed the read. Fun and entertaining.
