The Tale of the Left Handed Lady was deeply enthralling in capturing my attention. After watching the movies before first getting into this series, I originally expected the plot and characters to be comparatively the same. Though, it was far from it. The movies and books are two entirely different entities and I couldn't love them more! Enola is vastly different in displaying her independence in the books. It was refreshing to see Enola grow from a girl, whom was in an isolated home to a girl not only living on her own, to a girl navigating the adult world and the world of mystery through trial and error. Her character growth through her uncertainty of which path is correct through her attempt to understand a world she has newly entered. I can't wait to see the path she has chosen for herself in moving forward.
