Successful Women Speak Differently: 9 Habits That Build Confidence, Courage, and Influence by Valorie Burton

I listened to the audio of this and the narrator made it really interesting and thought-provoking in how she emphasized certain quotes and comments. (I definitely plan to listen to some of her other readings.)
The content was pretty good and it forced me to think a little deeper about how I am perceived, mainly in the workplace. As with many self-help books, the topic was relevant, but not necessarily life-changing. For me, I just needed a little push to do a few things that I have put off doing. Or rather, I wasn’t really sure the direction I should start.

I think had I read the book instead of the audio, I probably would have skipped around a bit. But, I enjoyed hearing about the stories and situations that others have faced during their careers. I didn’t feel as alone after realizing that others have also dealt with some of the same issues.
