A great book that should not be skipped if you enjoy reading the rich darkness from the early writings of Clive Barker, or if you're a new fan in search of such heat. Take your time reading this one, as this one is worth absorbing every little detail Clive includes and does not water down as he writes. The excerpt from his new book around the time this pocket book was released is worth reading for a taste outside of his Books of Blood stories. I found it amazing to read such unique body horror, a outlandish world of knots, and a Southern Gothic that leaves you piqued for more. As a fan and writer of gothic literature, I appreciate Clive's take on Southern Gothic, which was written well.
