less boring than book one but I was more annoyed by the silly plot of miscommunication and subterfuge. And what happened to the sheep and business in Wales ??? 

Some anachronistic items in the text. powdered wig wearing servants at a ball would be dated for this decade. And  I believe that Champs elysees came later in the 19th
