One of Us Will Be Dead by Morning by David Moody
4.0
I didn't read the original trilogy (it really doesn't peak my interest) but it was easy to follow even without all the context that I imagining it'd provide. I wanted a book that was fast, without much introduction of all the new characters, with a plot that would keep me hooked and full with action. And that was exactly what I got with this one; so I'm happy.
Sometimes the characters talk a bit too much about the same situation, it feels at time like they're talking in circles,... but then again, in a situation like theirs, maybe that was the most realistic part. And the small doubts that all the characters had, all those moments when they all wonder if maybe they're the haters... Yeah, I liked those a lot.
This kind of book is not my jam, I read it because it isn't; and yet I'd say is a good one, all in all. If you enjoy The Walking Dead, this book is for you, no questions.
