Stay Sexy & Don't Get Murdered by Karen Kilgariff, Georgia Hardstark

4.0

As someone who absolutely loves the podcast MFM, I was so excited to read this book! The true charm of the podcast lies not necessarily in the contents, but in its hosts, and their insights, jokes, and realness. It feels like sitting down and talking about true crime with your best friends, and that makes it so accessible. I’m happy to say that their book definitely has the same vibe. Less about true crime, and more a memoir, Georgia and Karen use this book to describe parts of their lives and how they have become the people that they are. Throughout their anecdotes, they intersperse humor and life lessons that are immensely enjoyable. I really liked learning more about them as people, and it’s giving me a better appreciation for the podcast as a whole.
