Sins of Seduction by Nicole Banks tells the story of Jax Pierce and Raven Wright. Jax and Raven were in a relationship however Jax grew up in a Catholic home and the two split because Jax doesn’t understand Raven’s need for a non-traditional relationship. After many years apart Jax is willing to change his mindset and wants Raven to give him another chance. In order to win Raven back, Jax visits her club, Lush, to make her see that his perspective on their relationship has changed. Before the night is over, someone is killed in the club and a cryptic message is left for Raven.
I love dark and suspenseful romances and this book was hot! The spice was good, the chemistry between Jax and Raven was off the charts, and the communication between the two was well written. The suspenseful scenes were also really well written and this book had a ton of twists and turns. Although the ending was a bit predictable for me, I love how it all played out. This was my first time reading Nicole Banks' work and I loved it! This book discusses dark themes so make sure to check content warnings before jumping in.
