I really, truly, thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Even though Sophie just kept making the wrong decisions - in my opinion - over and over again, not once did I want to put the book down.
Shep was wonderful. Funny, sexy, dog lover, never once wavering in his feelings, thoughtful, charming…honestly the list just goes on. And Sophie was just such a kind hearted soul. Which kind of led a lot of douchebags to walk all over her. I want to shake her so much with the whole Jimmy situation. But watching her basically lose the plot was actually highly amusing, and I almost wish we’d seen more of crazed Sophie.
The banter was great, the spice was great, the angst, comedy, and situations were all great. Really this has made me fall back in love with romcoms. Not that I ever fell out of love, just a mood reader over here!
There are even a couple of moments that made me tear up!
I love their love, no matter how long or how twisted the journey was for them to actually get there, it was well worth the wait.
