Def better than the first book in this series. I did like the retelling of this old tale. Kwazeem was a poor little traumatized sweetheart and dealt with so much pain. Mera being as resolute as she was, wasn’t a bad main character either. They were cute together. The plot is maayyybeee semi predictable but stil a lot of action was packed into it and the end was pretty good.
