I liked it a lot. The Pacific Rim element mixed with the gender aspect was dope. Adding

poly relationship

into the mix was just cherry on top. However i do think the last third of the book has some kind of rushed moments and i wish we spent more time on

the revenge of Shimin's torturer

. And the reveal at the end also wasn't quite as shocking and i saw it coming pretty much since the beginning. But i loved the story and i will definitely read the 2nd book
