If you're looking for a MM book with the perfect representation of soulmates, search no longer because this is the one.

The level of angst and pining in this story is way over my comfort level but all the tears I cried are worth it. My heart broke since the first two words, unrequited love, and I had to read it in one sitting because I need the HEA.

Aiden and Liam go to friends by proximity (Liam is Archer's, Aiden's twin, best friends) to hookups to lovers and their journey is painful, heartbreaking, emotional and beautiful.
Liam is a sunshine, a NHL promise, admired by everyone, raised in a loving family; Aiden is a loner, he doesn't let anyone close, except for his twin brother, who is his whole world; they grew up with an abusive mother first and then in a lot of foster homes and for years, Archer is been his sole rock. The result of his upbringing is that he believes he's unworthy to be loved (not only by a partner, but also by friends).

Luckily Liam has no intentions of giving up on him and he will do whatever it takes to make Aiden feel how much he loves him.
Like I said there are a lot of heartbreaking events, but also swoony and sweet moments between them. The HEA is perfect, even if I would have liked an epilogue more far in the future.

I cannot believe this is a debut novel, I really hope the author will start soon another story because she's very talented.
I absolutely recommend this book.

I received an ARC from the author and this is my honest review.
