5 Fantastic Stars! I loved it! One of my favorite books of the year!

Laney Walker only knows three things:
1. Her Dad
2. Softball
3. Her best friend of 8 years, Evan

Evan and Laney have been best friends since they were 10 years old, and outside of her Dad, Evan is the only male companionship that Laney has ever had and it was strictly platonic until Evan makes a move for her their senior year. They make the friends to lovers switch easily and effortlessly. Evan is your all-american, football playing, hot, boy, who loves Laney with his whole heart. They spend their days and nights together. The way Evan asks Laney to prom - SWOON! With the impending separation of college looming ahead of them, Laney breaks up with Evan, worried that he will stray and cheat on her, but they promise to remain best friends, even though Evan insists that Laney is it for him.

"It's nothing but space Laney. It means nothing. I'm still yours."

Laney starts college on her own for the first time in her life. She slowly starts to let people in her carefully constructed walls and makes friends for the first time in her life. She meets Dane, the brother of one of her friends and they hit it off right away.

Dane is amazing! The birthday? Swoon Again! They start to date, but guilt eats at her. She feels bad about having feelings for Dane, but she's not technically cheating on Evan, because they aren't together. She starts to let Dane in.

"Seriously, where were you when I was 10?"
"Off somewhere, waiting for you."

Dane does everything he can to win Laney's heart.

Evan tries everything he can to keep Laney's heart.

Who does she choose? They both will win your heart! Trust me, you will wish she can choose both! I now have an Evan song: "Ho Hey" by the Lumineers and a Dane song: "This Year's Love" by David Gray.

My words can't do the book justice. Plain and simply put: If you haven't read it, move it to the top of your TBR-List! You won't be disappointed!
