Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly

informative inspiring reflective slow-paced

4.0

I picked up this book because I saw the movie that it inspired and loved it.  It is important to note that the movie was written to entertain, while the book itself was written to inform. This book is the inspiring and fascinating story of several black women involved in the calculations behind the space race in the United States of America.  The story does read a bit slow, but it is still very well written.
