When I first started reading, I must say I was not fully aware of what I was getting myself into. If you're looking for a story that will leave you gagged all the way to the end, this may be a good read. Although, there are many triggerimg moments that are not meant for everyone.
Although disturbing, I did find the main character very interesting and I often felt saddened by the environment she's surrounded with that led her to her adult mental state. There is a really strong commentary of basic society norms that are deemed required to live a successful life and how it affects those who chose the freedom of going outside that norm.
