I feel like we're really getting to the more nitty gritty drama aspect of this manga in this volume, as we get to see more of Akito. And we don't like what we see! Granted, I knew that was where this was going when I started it, but we're definitely starting to see it unfold on the page in this volume.
Also, all the Kyo character development! And Yuki! There's such a dark past there, and I have a feeling it's just going to keep going from there. Despite everything, it's so heartwarming that Tohru is trying to stay positive through it all. Her determination to help try to break the curse? It's adorable. But will also probably lead to heartbreak.
