Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur

Most of the poems seemed like insta captions, yes. I really don’t think that we can call this a poetry book, it’s not. However, I’ve enjoyed many quotes. They bring powerful messages regarding love, healing, girl power, forgiveness. There are a lot of good messages with great points of view. It’s not an extraordinary book, but it’s also not that bad.

Definitely my favourite page:

“Most importantly love
like it's the only thing you know how
at the end of the day all this
means nothing
this page
where you're sitting
your degree
your job
the money
nothing even matters
except love and human connection
who you loved
and how deeply you loved them
how you touched the people around you
and how much you gave them."
