what the fuck was this.
i genuinely do not know how all of you like this book or these characters, because these are genuinely some of the most bland, annoying and stuck up characters i’ve ever read about.
BJ is actually the worst person ever and i can’t believe how much of a <u>doormat</u> Magnolia is to still love him after everything he’s done.
girl, please, grow a pair and tell him to mind his own business and leave you <i>the fuck</i> alone, because this is just stupid. i got so angry at her for not standing up for herself and still calling him <i>the love of her life</i> despite his actions (aka: countless amounts of cheating, manipulating, gaslighting and possessive behavior <u>when they weren’t even together</u> + more).
Magnolia is no saint, either. they both deserve each other as they’re absolutely terrible people, but at least she could’ve had a bit of a backbone.
the writing was <i>trying</i> to be poetic, but just seemed really cringy.
there were way too many side characters that after reading for a while you forget who’s who and why they were there in the first place. they also all had the same personality (none), and they were only there to further the <i>Magnolia x BJ</i> plot. it was the same thing over and over again.
i could not handle this stupid shit anymore.
