Review
- Positives: This is the perfect winter book. The aesthetic & description of Harvest Cove is damn near perfect. Harvest Cove itself is written excellently, like it is it’s own character. The dream sequences are also written really well & sort of creeped me out in way; they were unique & intriguing and were my favorite parts of the book. Danny’s relationship with Ash’s dad is also a strong suite of the story & are the realest parts of the book to me

- Negatives/flaws: Pike’s character wasn’t the best; felt like the stereotypical big, dumb psycho teenager into blowing stuff up. Some of the dialogue is a bit corny. The monster did not scare me at all. I don’t know if it’s the way it’s described or something but I was not intimidated in the slightest

Favorite Chapter/Part of the book: Chapter Sixteen
Least-Favorite Chapter/Part of the book: None
