The premise of this book was so promising and I enjoyed the first half but I did not like where the story went. And, without spoilers, it was an extremely unsatisfying ending that I can't fathom how the story continues. I feel like this book fell prey to the very common YA trope of excellent idea, terrible follow through. I will not continue the series.
