I tried the book because I’m a fan of Julia Wehlan as an audiobook reader. It was really fun to have a protagonist who was a romance-hating narrator who finds herself living a romance novel reality. In the midst of this self-aware winking to the listener, she created some very moving scenes with her aunt who was losing herself in dementia. A surprisingly good book!
