Fragments of an Anarchist Anthropology by David Graeber

4.0

If the behemoth that is the Dawn of Everything seems intimidating, have no fear. Start with this handy-dandy condensed and digestible depiction of Graeber’s intellectual and political lodestar, his commitment to anarchist thought as a vital lens through which his anthropological research is derived. Anthropology is a highly static field making leaps and bounds in its shifts from western fundamentalist views to broader sociocultural understandings of the past; and Graeber’s approaches, praxis, and massive breadth of work are a welcome addition.
