This was my second Brandon Sanderson read and WOW. My LIFE is in this man's hands and I'm so glad that I've started reading his work because each one so far has been right up my alley.
As someone who doesn't really know any of his works because what I've read so far are from his "Secret Projects" (which I found out he mainly wrote for his wife and kids ðŸ˜), I am SO excited to get deeper into the Cosmere.
This is about a guy that wakes up in Medieval England with no idea who he is or how he got there and then proceeds to go on a great mystical adventure to find out who he is, all while fighting bad guys, doing really badly at geography, getting called a loser like 50 times and falling in love.
At the same time, there are bits and pieces of the Handbook that our main character has (that accidentally exploded) that pop up in the book time and again, which honestly had me in a fit of giggles half the time because of the great artwork and just the sheer un-seriousness of it! I loved the humour in this so much!
