I absolutely loved the first book in the Glacian trilogy and was super excited for this book.
While I was sad this book was less action packed than the first, it had massive character development and expanded in the world's lore. Dawysn struggles with betrayal and heartbreak all the while attempting to save her people and learn about her new magic. The massive internal struggle within her leads to many realizations and growth which I found to be so amazing. I ver much appreciate that she does not instantly forgive Ryon and that she has to do major growth to overcome her issues with him. This book expanded on what we know of Terrsaw and the history of the world, including some amazing myths.
I cannot wait for it all to come to an epid ending as there are three main enemies to deal with.
