The Silver Siren by Chanda Hahn

5.0

I loved this series and I'm sad to see it come to an end, but all good things must end so on to the review. There was enough intrigue to keep you going throughout the whole novel. So much in fact I read all 255 pages in one sitting. This book never slows down and throws enough surprises in to keep you gasping every few chapters or so.

We finally get the answers to the love triangle between Thalia, Kael, and Joss, and we finally get answers to who Thalia's mother is and why Thalia is so special. I'd say, all in all, the story is wrapped up pretty damn well. Aside from a few generic concepts in fantasy novels, you know... the good vs evil and classism issues, this book is awesome. I think the thinking behind why Thalia is so special and the explanation for her gifts wasn't that original, but that doesn't overshadow how great this book is. In fact, that's my only gripe with this story. You can't be perfect at anything in life but you can get damn close, that's why I am reading this book a 4.8. Read it, read all of the iron butterfly series it comes highly recommended by me.
