I’m a sucker for a good cowboy romance and while I did enjoy this one it kind of fell flat for me. I wanted more chemistry between Blake and Gavin. I appreciated how this book handled each character’s journey with grief so well. I wanted to see more of their emotional connection beyond their  grief. Honorable mention to Jake who was my favorite character, he was fun and full of life. I would read a book with him as the MMC. I recommend this for folks looking for a cowboy romance with a more emotional read.
