My friends and I went away to the beach for the weekend and we had ourselves a bookclub. We agreed on reading #TheWrongMrRight by Stephanie Archer, and it was the perfeccct read for the beach! I do have a lot to say about it, however:

- There were def insta-love & insta-lust vibes, but I find that I do not mind it too much.
- The MC is awkward as hell, and this story it about her getting out of her shell. I appreciated that her help, her crush Wyatt, did not try to change her personality, but just tried to make her enjoy life more, by showing her things he knew she would like and pushing her boundaries a bit. It did not feel like too much, and her character development is well done.
- Sm*t was nice! Refreshing to some degree, even.
- Some elements were unexpected and were not for me: the constant calling her « bookworm », the surprise pregnancy k!nk, etc. Did not ruin the experience, but made me wince a little.
- The ending was terribly cliché. But I’m wondering if maybe I should also read the other ones? I liked that I always knew where it was going, but I hated that I was right everytime.

I had a fun time! But would necessarily recommend as an excellent read. Romance is not my go-to genre, but I am trying new things (like Hannah!) 🫶🏼 All and all, I give it 3/5 ⭐️
